FINS hires Killian Doughney

FINS Braids is pleased to announce the addition of Killian Doughney to their team as Director of Sales. Killian brings with him an extensive background in sales leadership, brand management, and field marketing. The position will report directly to Lee Burch, President, and is responsible for cultivating existing relationships with customers, developing strategic plans for identifying and implementing new business, and continuing to improve upon the brand management program to promote the FINS series of braided line.

“We are excited to have Killian on board,” stated Lee Burch. “With our recent acquisition by Elvisridge Capital, we are at the beginning stages of investing additional strategic and capital resources into the growth of our company and brand. I am confident that Killian will successfully play a vital role in expanding our distribution footprint.”

Killian is a native-born Floridian with a passion for fishing and diving that began at a young age. Led by his family and local fishing mentors, he developed a deep knowledge and respect of the aquatic life that inhabits the waters of Florida and the Bahamas. Killian’s unique blend of on-the-water experience and proven leadership in sales management offers a distinct competitive advantage to BBS-FINS going into the 2022-2023 fishing season.

Located in Erlanger, KY, BBS is the last remaining domestically owned and based manufacturer of high-performance fishing line and non-fishing line braids such as kayak control lines, spear fishing lines and cords used in the automotive industry, specializing in producing small diameter braids of high-performance fiber.

BBS Tech is owned by Elvisridge Capital, a private investment firm offering personal attention, operational expertise, and strategic resources to the companies it acquires.
